This past weekend, our friends Connie and Jamie treated us to an amazing dinner at a fabulous place called Oz Cafe. As if treating us to dinner wasn’t generous enough, Connie brought us 2 batches of her mouth-watering oatmeal cookies! She made them with chocolate covered raisins so they only lasted for one day… ahem, a few days. Once they were gone, I needed to bake some. I didn’t have the ingredients to bake Connie’s cookies, but I did find a bag of dark chocolate chips in my cupboard. They are not as good as Connie’s cookies, but they are pretty dang close!
P.S. I was listening to this crazy beat while getting my bake on. I am still trying to figure out how to dance like this.
